Notable Information
- There are no dog poo bins on the walk or at the car parks.
- Dogs are required to be on a lead when getting in and out of your vehicle in case of other vehicles parking up.
- If it has been raining, prepare for a muddy walk! Wellies or walking shoes are generally required.
- The area has cattle at various times of the year.
- There is a stile to climb over if taking the straight ahead path.
Walk Outline
- Take the steps up and entre the gate on the left.
- Once past the gate dogs can be let off the lead.
- There are two options to choose from, left occasionally less muddy but more likely to have sheep or straight ahead which can get quite muddy.
- I take the straight ahead path and go over the stile on the left and walk up a gentle incline and turn right to follow the path.
- We generally go into the next open field with a fence to your right to see the views of Wales and the ocean. Unless it is blackberry picking time, where we take a left turn and walk on the paved track.
- Follow the paths and explore. You can have steep exciting walk or a easy gradually incline.
- This walk you can get to Sandbay's- Middle Hope Cove. If you do walk to Middle Hope Cove this is the only time you would have to retrace your steps.
- The views are what I crave and the fresh sea air makes it more enjoyable.
